Shevan Wilks ARNP, AGNP-C is a board-certified adult and gerontology nurse practitioner who specializes in primary care for the adult and geriatric population. She began her nursing career as a license practical nurse (LPN) in 2008.Due to her passion to help others she went further to advance her nursing career. She obtained an associates of science degree in nursing (ASN) at Excelsior college, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN) at Broward college, and a Master of science degree in nursing (MSN) at South University. She is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at the university of Florida.
Shevan has enjoyed over 11 fulfilling years at the bedside in various settings and specialties. In addition to working in a hospital setting, she has experience in community nursing, home care, hospice/ palliative care, and long-term care facilities.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Her passion is to make healthcare readily available to all, especially the underserved /uninsured population. Her private practice focuses on telehealth and housecall visits to persons 18 years and older.
